Classic Media Kit Workshop
Putting Together a Media Kit for Any Book
LEARNING HOW TO DO A MEDIA KIT
Media Kits are something you should do for every one of your major books, often before you launch it.
A Media Kit will have everything you will need for that book in promotion, all set and ready to go. From the dimension of the covers required for most major sites to review letters and a list of review places to send promotion material.
Tag lines for the book for different markets, sales copy (often for different markets), marketing copy, and keywords and where to find them.
Author bio slanted to the genre of the book and focused.
You also need comps and information of the costs of different bids on key words. Expense costs on Bookbub ads and so on and so on.
So much is covered in this six week class to put together a full Media Kit package for a book, including sizes needed for different ads. But if you do this for a book, it makes the launching and promotion so much easier every time, and also going into the future the information will be there for any needed promotion.
If you don't understand most of what I just said, you need this class because that is only a bit of the basics and this class covers so much more.
