Classic Reaching Pulp Speed
Learning How to Reach Pulp Speed in Word Production
Classic Reaching Pulp Speed
Pulp Speed measures the amount of publishable words you create in a year. Based on the speeds of the old pulp fiction writers who wrote story after story on manual typewriters and made a living at a penny per word.
Pulp Speed One is one million finished and publishable words a year. In essence about 80,000 words per month or 2,700 words per day. Many, many writers manage that production and above.
This is not a matter of typing faster. And you might want to consider taking the Depth, Killing Critical Voice, and the Speed workshops before taking this one.
To reach Pulp Speed One with your writing, you must have a lot of writing skills and attitudes in place and most of your critical voice cleared out.
This classic workshop will take you step-by-step through what it will take to get to Pulp Speed One and above.
It should be a lot of fun.
