February Covers 101
Learning How To Do Your Own Book Covers
LEARNING HOW TO DO YOUR OWN BOOK COVERS
This is a step-by-step guide to doing your own book covers at a basic 101 level.
Not only will new cover designers get a lot from this, but so will those of you who have been doing your own covers.
Covers are fun and in this new world of indie publishing, none of us can really afford to roll the dice and hope that a cover person will get your cover right, let alone always pay for them.
Allyson Longueira and I will be working together on this for you, to make sure everything is clear and our reasons that you do something makes sense.
This is the basics. We will not teach you how to use some design program. Nope. We are teaching covers, branding, professional-level design, fonts, and so much more.
If you are prolific and covers are costing too much or slowing your writing down, you need this class. If your books aren't selling very well, you need this class.
Good covers are the first thing a customer sees. Bad covers they just slide by.
A critical 101 level workshop.
